This vehicle will utilise Tesla Turbine Technology. The Tesla Turbine will be driven by a closed loop wet gas system. We are aiming to achieve over 90% efficiency with our design. This should equate to a fuel consumption of 1litre per 180Km's. A benefit of this
high efficiency and the closed loop system will be ultra low emissions as there is no combustion in the system. The vehicle will represent your averaged sized car having a gross weight of 1000Kg, and being capable of developing 10KN of thrust. The
MR2 was chosen because we believe an engine should be mid-mounted in a car. This technology will also benefit electricity production, allowing a high rise apartment or office building and rural farms to manufacture there own energy needs. We choose the car to exhibit this
technology as it requires the most flexibility from the design. The progress of this project will be shown on the Project Diary page of this website. Trials and event participation will be listed on the Event calendar page of this website. We are currently seeking financial investors or
sponsors, business or private. Advertising on the vehicle will be available.
"The piston engine is a dinosaur unable to evolve to meet the needs of mankind in the 21st Century."
Examples of projects we have been involved with:
1996 Toyota Supra RZ Targa Car
We are endeavoring to increase the horsepower output, reduce the emissions and improving the fuel consumption of the supra without making major engine modifications.
We do not wish to jeopardise the reliability of the engine. We have not changed the factory turbos or boost level.
